Question 1

How does the 30-second avatar preview work?

Accepted Answer

You upload the original photo and, within seconds, we create the personalized avatar for the story. For privacy, and in compliance with GDPR, the original photo is deleted right after the avatar is created — we only keep the avatar, never the photo.

Question 2

Do I need to create an account to try it out?

Accepted Answer

No. You can create the avatar and preview the story for free, without an account — with access to 2 avatars. If you create a (free) account, you get 6 avatars available and your progress is saved, so you never have to start over.

Question 3

What payment methods do you accept?

Accepted Answer

We accept card (Visa and Mastercard), MB WAY, Multibanco and PayPal. You choose the method you prefer at checkout, with full security.

Question 4

Is my data and my child's photo safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We use Google infrastructure in compliance with GDPR, and your child's data protection is handled with the utmost care at every step of the process.

Question 5

Can I get a refund if I don't like the result?

Accepted Answer

You can always request the 2 included revisions if something doesn't turn out as expected. Once the book is approved, printed and shipped, refunds are no longer possible.

Question 6

Question 7

Accepted Answer

Each book includes 2 free revisions. Once you see the result, you can request adjustments until it matches what you imagined.

Question 8

Can I write the story myself, or does it have to be AI-generated?

Accepted Answer

Both options are available. You can let us create it automatically, or write the story, title and back-cover text yourself — you just need to stay within the character limit set for each page.

Question 9

How many characters can the book have?

Accepted Answer

Up to 5 characters in total, with at least 1 and at most 2 of them able to be main characters.

Accepted Answer

A clear photo, with the face clearly visible and facing the camera, good lighting, and no sunglasses or hats covering the face.

Question 15

How do revisions work?

Accepted Answer

You can request a revision on any page where you find some kind of error. We work to minimize this as much as possible with our advanced AI model, but the AI can occasionally make small mistakes. If something still isn't right even after the first revision, you can request a second one.
