What exactly is an AI personalised book, and how does it work? We have gathered the questions we get most about photographs, images, revisions, prices and timing. If you don't find your question here, the free preview, which doesn't require an account, is a way to see the result before you decide.
What is an AI personalised book?
It is a storybook in which the chosen person is the main character. From a clear photograph we create an illustrated avatar that appears on every page, and the story can be created by us, from the theme and names you give, or written by you. The book can have up to 5 characters, with 1 or 2 main characters.
What happens to the photograph I send?
The photograph is used only to create the illustrated avatar and is deleted right afterwards. Only the drawn avatars remain. If you want more detail, read our article about photo safety.
Are the images made by artificial intelligence?
Yes. The book's illustrations are generated by artificial intelligence and all our articles and pages say so. We do it for transparency, in line with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, and because we think readers have the right to know.
Can I ask for changes?
Yes. Each book includes 2 free revisions, which let you fix details such as hair colour, clothing, expression or the text on a page. The book only goes to print after you approve it, so it is worth checking names and dates carefully before approving.

How long does it take to arrive?
The eBook is available right after approval. The printed book is delivered in 6 to 10 business days after you approve (6 to 15 in the Azores and Madeira), in 12 countries. After it ships, you receive an email with the tracking code and can check it in your account.
Which countries do you deliver to?
The printed book is delivered to Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Austria, Finland, Sweden and Denmark. Shipping starts at €5.99 and is always shown before you pay. The eBook can be bought from anywhere and has no shipping.
What payment methods do you accept?
It depends on the country. In Portugal we accept card, MB WAY, Multibanco and PayPal; in other countries, card, PayPal and other local methods, such as Klarna or iDEAL. You always see the available methods at checkout, before paying, and we never see or store your card details.
Can I return the book?
Because each book is personalised, the law does not provide the 14-day right to return for a change of mind. But if the book arrives with a printing defect, damaged or different from the one you approved, you are covered by the legal guarantee: we reprint, reship or refund. That is why approval matters: check the names and the text carefully.
Which languages can I make the book in?
In 14 languages: Portuguese from Portugal and Brazil, English (United States, United Kingdom and Australia), Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish. You can choose the story's language independently of the site's language.
Can I write the story myself?
Yes. You can write the text and the dedication, or let us create them from the theme, names and tone you give. The dedication can be up to 250 characters.
What ages is it suitable for?
Most books work well between 3 and 11 years old, but we also make books for adults: couples, friends, grandparents or colleagues. The tone of the story is up to you: tender, playful or emotional.
And the MyStoriez+ collection?
MyStoriez+ is a subscription project, with 12 ready-made stories organised in 3 modules, which is still shown on the site as “coming soon”. It is not possible to subscribe at the mument. Meanwhile, you can create individual personalised books.
How can I try it with no commitment?
Try the free preview on the site, without creating an account. You see the avatar and a sample of the story and only then decide whether to go ahead. If you do, you still have 2 revisions before approving.
